The effort was not vain because it allowed us to profoundly understand the matter and finally select the right way to lead to a simple, inexpensive, and efficient process.
Selection of glycerol brings essential advantages for the process:
Adsorption of water vapor and regeneration of water are independent in time, and optimal conditions are different.
While water absorption is optimal at night, where the relative humidity is highest, the regeneration is optimal at midday, where the sunshine is maximal.
The selection of water-absorbent glycerol is essential to provide an absolutely safe water process, even in the case of intentional damage to the installation.
A leak of glycerol into the water makes it slightly sweet, which is easily recognized. Even then, such a water/glycerol mixture is for the user less dangerous than Coca-Cola.
The new Aerakvos technology is so simple and unique that it has been accepted for patent protection in 80 countries all over the world.
